Tiara Fizer has always had aspirations for doing business. Through multiple customer jobs such as working at Chipotle, she learned the meaning of serving customers and making them happy. She did an 8-week intern in June 14, 2010 with JP Morgan Chase Bank where she learned the importance of serving customers and how it affects their everyday life.
She has learned about stocks, bonds and the role of a broker. She also learned the three major cycles that holds Chase Corp. together. For example, there are accountants who interact with clients daily by handling their bank accounts and transactions daily to help them keep track of their account standings. Next, the technology team who create programs, websites and spreadsheets for the accountants to use for efficiency and organizations for each of their clients account information. Lastly, the team who deal with where the funds go as far as are they traded, invested or stocked.
As you can see she does not have much background in business but after having the experience to shadow business workers, being in the settings of a business culture and taking business classes at UT,she hopes to build a foundation around business to further help her with one of her goals to become an entrepreneur someday.
